MY DAUGHTER

 (Passed away Dec.31, 1996)

Dear daughter, what do I say!

Life with you seemed to be such a maze.

From the day you were born, it all started there.

My love for you, no way nothing could compare.

For thirty-two years your life had so much fun and sadness,

You never knew how to separate your love from the madness.

All the drugs you had taken, destroyed all your thoughts and control,

It made you a hateful person with a heart that had no soul.

You tried changing so there would be no more heartache and tears,

The last few months of your life, you were happier than you've been in years.

Being your mother; Made my life so exciting, happy, upsetting and fun,

Now the skies are going to be black and gray with no sun.

My darling Daughter, your suffering and pain is all over,

Please Dear God take care of my beautiful child forever.

I WROTE THIS ONE FOR MOM AT CHRISTMAS 1994

(Passed away April 12, 1997)

MOTHER

Christmas is a special time for laughter and cheer,

When I think of you mom I always shed a tear.

This tear is of joy and love that I have just for you,

Because you happen to be the greatest person I ever knew.

I can’t begin to Thank and Tell just how much you mean to me,

You have always been there in my time of need.

There is no way that I can repay for all you have done for me and mine,

However, I hope this will help you understand it is appreciated all the time.

If God would have come to me and said, “ Go pick your mother, little Lad”

There is no one I could have picked; He gave me the best one he ever had.

I WROTE THIS ONE FOR MOM TO GIVE TO AUNT RUTH

FOR HER 80th BIRTHDAY

Happy Birthday Friend

When we were young girls and not afraid,

We laughed and played till the sky turned gray

Our lives were full of love, laughter and fun,

You met my brother and you two became one.

Four wonderful children was born into your lives,

I had four also, “My gosh how did we survive”

Now our darling children have children of there own,

We are Great Grandparents, No way we would have known.

Both our lives have been wonderful and filled with love,

Our beautiful husbands are now with God above.

Our friendship we have had through all these years,

No one could replace you, as a friend you are Dear.

Now we are 80, “ My goodness “ how did we make it this far,

Happy Birthday Friend, this is from the bottom of my heart.

       No matter where we are,
God is always near  to all of us.
So, I know you are never too far away
